These Terms and Conditions are applicable to all users of the site. If you disagree with all or any of the terms of use in this agreement, then you may consider not to access the website or use any of the services.

We are committed to ensuring that our website is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the services, at any time. We will never charge you for any service without making it very clear to you precisely what you’re paying for.

Any new features which are added to the current site shall also be subject to this Terms and Conditions. You can always review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or retrieve any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

AGE OF CONSENT

By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your cities of residence. You may not use/access our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your access to our services.

PROHIBITED USE

You may not use your Tony Cars Account to engage in the following categories of activity (“Prohibited Uses”). The specific types of use listed below are representative, but not exhaustive. If you are uncertain as to whether or not your use of Tony Cars Services involves a Prohibited Use, or have questions about how these requirements apply to you, please contact us. By opening a Tony Cars Account, you confirm that you will not use your Account to do any of the following:

  1. Unlawful Activity.Activity which would violate, or assist in violation of, any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or sanction programs administered in the countries where Tony Cars conducts business, or which would involve proceeds of any unlawful activity; publishing, distributing or disseminating any unlawful material or information.
  2. Abusive Activity.Actions which impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or detrimentally interfere with, intercept, or expropriate any system, data, or information; transmit or upload any material to the Tony Cars Site that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other harmful or deleterious programs; attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Tony Cars Site, other Tony Cars Accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Tony Cars Site, through password mining or any other means; use Tony Cars Account information of another party to access or use the Tony Cars Site, except in the case of specific Merchants and/or applications which are specifically authorized by a user to access such user’s Tony Cars Account and information; or transfer your account access or rights to your account to a third party, unless by operation of law or with the express permission of Tony Cars
  3. Abuse Other Users.Interfere with another individual’s or entity’s access to or use of any Tony Cars Services; defame, abuse, extort, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate or infringe the legal rights (such as, but not limited to, rights of privacy, publicity and intellectual property) of others; incite, threaten, facilitate, promote, or encourage hate, racial intolerance, or violent acts against others; harvest or otherwise collect information from the Tony Cars Site about others, including without limitation email addresses, without proper consent.
  4. Fraud.An Activity which operates to defraud Tony Cars, Tony Cars users, or any other person; provide any false, inaccurate, or misleading information to Tony Cars.
  5. Intellectual Property Infringement.Engage in transactions involving items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the law, including but not limited to sales, distribution, or access to counterfeit music, movies, software, or other licensed materials without the appropriate authorization from the rights holder; use of Tony Cars intellectual property, name, or logo, including use of Tony Cars trade or service marks, without express consent from Tony Cars or in a manner that otherwise harms Tony Cars or the Tony Cars brand; any action that implies an untrue endorsement by or affiliation with Tony Cars.

SERVICE TERMS

  1. Tony Cars at this moment grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and use the Service, under the conditions of these Terms & Conditions and for the duration of the Agreement.
  2. The use of the Service is at the User’s own expense and risk. The User is responsible for meeting the technical and functional requirements and using the electronic communication facilities that are necessary to be able to access and use the Service. The User will at all times bear the risk of loss, theft or damage to any of its data.
  3. All online quotes where given are approximate. We operate a fixed rate for journeys according to mileage, time, type of car and service required. If any factors appear before the ride, the client will be contacted and warned about any changes. Factors may consist of road accidents or road closures.
  4. Tony Cars is hereby authorized to use the location-based information provided by any of the telecommunication companies regarding the use of mobile phones by the Customer for making a minicab booking. However, the location-based information will be used only to facilitate and improve the probability of locating a taxi for the Customer.
  1. Tony Cars shall be entitled to disclose the particulars of the Customer/s in possession of Tony Cars to all companies controlled by Tony Cars or any of its authorized drivers or any government body as required by the law/ or by directive/ or request from any government body or to any third party deemed fit and proper by Tony Cars, in its absolute discretion.
  2. Tony Cars shall be entitled to terminate any booking at any time without giving any reason or prior notice to the Customer.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse any passenger using our services if they are abusive, drunk or misusing drugs as well as having too much excess luggage which would result in the vehicle becoming unsafe on the road. Any booking cancellation should be made 2 hours prior to the time of booking.
  4. No smoking, alcohol, drugs or eating are allowed inside the car.
  5. Clients can pay online for the provided services using bank cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or cash.
  6. A baby or child is counted as a passenger. If there is a need for an appropriate baby seat, inform us of their age and type of seat which will be required for the journey. For online bookings we offer child seat options on the step “Booking Confirmation” by ticking “More Options”.
  7. Tony Cars encourages all its customers to take full responsibility for their luggage/belongings. In case of any loss, from the taxi during the journey, Tony Cars shall endeavour to locate the lost luggage/belongings on a “best-effort” basis but Tony Cars shall not be held responsible for such loss or damage.
  8. All lost properties are recorded in our “lost and found” registry.
    Currently there is no public access to our company office. So, to retrieve your property you must contact our office. We will make the appropriate arrangements. For instance, using post service or paying additional fee to deliver by our car service.
  9. If the Customer leaves any luggage/belongings/goods in the taxi or has any complaint in respect of the services or the use of the taxi, the Customer shall make a complaint in writing to Tony Cars within 24 hours from such usage.

 

Tony Cars will have the right (but not the obligation), at its sole discretion, to review, edit, limit, refuse or remove Content, products or to limit or refuse the User access to the Service. More specifically in the event the use of the Service, according to us, violates these Terms of Use.

We may disclose the User’s Personal Data or Content, or other data relating to the use of the Service, to third parties where it believes, in good faith, that it is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, criminal or civil subpoena, or other legal process or to exercise its constitutional rights of defence against legal claims.

PRICING POLICY

Prices are calculated automatically using the following details: distance, time of travel and number of passengers travelling are taken into consideration. Any variations to the journey(s) originally discussed, booked and agreed to between the client and Tony Cars may be subject to additional charges, if these changes involve extra time and/or distance being covered.

We reserve the right to provide an upgraded car type from the original that was selected if your chosen vehicle is was not suitable.

Tony Cars reserves the right to alter our charges at any time.

TOLLS

Any bridge tolls are not included in the online quotes. Charges are payable as cash to the driver or via card to Tony Cars.

AIRPORT JOURNEYS

Tony Cars is not responsible for missed flights due to any reason such as traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances.

We recommend that passengers plan to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to their flight departure to avoid unexpected delays on route to or from the airport. Tony Cars is not responsible for missed passengers if the check-in has not been allowed for 3 hours.

Of course, you can arrange to arrive at the airport less than 3 hours before your flight departs, but Tony Cars cannot be held responsible for a missed flight.

All passengers are advised to have adequate travel insurance before booking. Passengers who do not wait for their designated driver and use other transport are not responsible for any costs. Make sure you enter the correct time and date (UK time) and not the departure details.

If your flight is delayed by two hours or more, please let us know as soon as possible. In exceptional cases, we may use third-party companies if necessary.

AIRPORT PARKING FEES

All airport pickups require a short-term parking entry. Only minimal airport parking charges are included in the price quoted at the time of booking. Additional parking charges are payable to the driver in cash or by card to Tony Cars.

WAITING TIME  

We do not charge for the airport pick-up after the plane’s landing time, as the customer chooses the pick-up time when booking the service. Waiting time charges start after your chosen collection time and will be charged regardless of the reason at £22/hour, i.e., at an equivalent increase of £5.5 every 15 min.

Excluding airports, any of other journeys, the first 10 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time are free. The waiting time will then be charged at the standard rate of £22 per hour  i.e. at an equivalent increase of £5.5 every 15 min.

HEATHROW OR GATWICK AIRPORT PICK-UPS AND WAITING TIME

 Waiting time and parking up to 30 min are included in your pre-booked journey price. Calculations will begin from your reserved meeting time after the plane lands. If it requires additional time, parking and waiting charges will be added to the final price of the journey(s). We offer two pick-up options: “Usual” or “Meet & Greet”.

“Usual” – customers will meet the driver in a short stay car park (details provided on booking confirmation).

“Meet & Greet” (£8) – the driver will be waiting for you in the arrival’s hall holding a sign board with the customer’s name on it.

£5.50 for each 15 min of additional waiting, plus car park charges.

LUTON AIRPORT PICK-UPS AND WAITING TIME

Waiting time and parking charges up to 15 min from Luton airport are included in your pre-booked journey price. Calculations will begin from your reserved meeting time after the plane lands. If it requires additional time, parking and waiting charges will be added to your final journey’s price. We offer two pick-up options: “Usual” or “Meet & Greet”.

 “Usual” – customer will meet the driver in a dedicated drop-off & pick-up area (details provided on booking confirmation).  Additional £1 per min charge there after included 15 min will be applied. 

“Meet & Greet” (£8) – the driver will be waiting for you in the arrival’s hall holding a sign board with the customer’s name on it, plus additional parking charges.

£5.50 for each 15 min of additional waiting, plus car park charges.

CITY AIRPORT PICK-UPS AND WAITING TIME

Waiting time and parking up to 20 min from City airport are included in your pre-booked journey price. Calculations will begin from your reserved meeting time after the plane lands. If it requires additional time, parking and waiting charges will be added to your final journey’s price. We offer two pick-up options: “Usual” or “Meet & Greet”.

“Usual” – customers will meet the driver in the short stay car park (details provided on booking confirmation).

“Meet & Greet” (£8) – the driver will be waiting for you in the arrival’s hall holding a sign board with the customer’s name on it.

£5.50 for each 15 min of additional waiting, plus car park charges.

STANSTED AIRPORT PICK-UPS AND WAITING TIME:  

Waiting time and parking up to 30 min from Stansted airport are included in your pre-booked journey price. Calculations will begin from your reserved meeting time after the plane lands. If it requires additional time, parking and waiting charges will be added to your final journey’s price. We offer two pick-up options: “Usual” or “Meet & Greet”.

“Usual” – customers will meet the driver in a short stay car park (details provided on booking confirmation).

“Meet & Greet” (£8)– the driver will be waiting for you in the arrival’s hall holding a sign board with the customer’s name on it.

£5.50 for each 15 min of additional waiting, plus car park charges.

BOOKINGS 

All online bookings require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice. Bookings are valid only using the Tony Cars website, mobile App, or by contacting Tony Cars office. For a booking to be completed, a full postal address including telephone number, preferably mobile, will be required. Also, full name and destination, address and pick up time is required. After each step of the booking, you will be notified via text messaging and email depending on the way you booked or preferred.

Notifications consists of these booking steps & journey status:

“Unconfirmed”, “On board”, “Completed” – by email.

“Confirmed”, “On route”, “Arrived”, “Cancelled” – by text message or email (on request).

CHANGE POLICY

The customer will automatically receive a travel confirmation email about the trip(s) you booked online with Tony Cars. It is your responsibility to check that the details we receive are correct.

Any change must be made by email info@tony-cars.co.uk or by calling 02083999473. Confirmation of the change will be sent by email or text message. Changes cannot be made together with the driver.

RE-BOOKING POLICY

All re-bookings must be made through the operator only: by telephone 02083999473 or by e-mail info@tony-cars.co.uk. In this way, confirmations are sent out and the journey is insured. It is against the law for private hire drivers to accept journeys directly.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tony Cars will accept any cancellation with at least a 2 hours’ notice. The cancellation must be made by e-mail, telephone or online (for an account holders) to which you will receive our confirmation by e-mail.

If you do not receive an email letter from Tony Cars confirming the cancellation, it means that we haven’t received it. In this case, please call Tony Cars. Refunds are not given in the following circumstances: If the passenger does not show up for pre-paid trips, or if the journey(s) are cancelled with less than 2 hours. Either circumstance will result in no refunds given.

HOLIDAY SURCHARGES

Reservations made for services on the following timings and dates will be subject to an additional surcharge on published prices: 24th December to 26th December, 31st December to 2nd January. Other days may also be affected. The material contained in this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute acceptance of any bookings that may be made. We accept no responsibility for loss which may rise from reliance on information contained in this site or from any minicab bookings made on this site.

LOST & FOUND PROPERTY

We shall not be responsible for any property left by passengers in any driver vehicles. When property is found in a driver vehicle, it will be stored by us for a period of 28 days and thereafter we shall be entitled to return, sell, destroy or otherwise dispose of such property in  absolute discretion as we see fit.

COMPLAINTS

Complaint forms can be requested by contacting our office or via email. They are recorded in our “complaints” registry.

CRIME PREVENTION

In order to protect our customers and the company from fraud and theft, we may pass on information that we obtain from making identity checks and other information in our customer records, including how you conduct your account, to other Group companies, other retailers and to financial and other organisations involved in fraud prevention and detection, to use in the same way. Without limitation to the foregoing, we may disclose any information and data relating to you to the police or any regulatory or government authority including and not limited to law enforcement agencies in response to a request in connection with the investigation of any suspected illegal activities.

TELEPHONE CALLS 

Calls may be recorded to verify content and may be used together with other customer records for regulatory compliance, quality control and staff training, preventing or detecting criminal activity and for complaint resolution.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Certain content and services available via our website may include materials from third-parties. Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites or applications that are not affiliated with us. Tony Cars is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of such website or application and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites.

You’re obliged to review carefully the third-party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.
